KU1 - Describe Questions
Let's use the example: 'How important was the Versailles Treaty in making the Weimar Republic unpopular in Germany?'
It must have:

- At General level, part of the answer is in the source. To achieve full marks, give information from the source and one piece of your own knowledge.
- However at Credit, there is no source! It must all come from your Brain!
KU2 - Explain Question
- Exactly as it asks, just explain.
KU3 - How Important. Quite difficult but can easily be mastered.
Let's use the example: 'How important was the Versailles Treaty in making the Weimar Republic unpopular in Germany?'
- Show why the Treaty made the Weimar Republic unpopular.
- You must mention at least 1 or 2 other factors which were also important in making the Weimar Republic unpopular e.g. inflation in 1923 or the depression which began in 1929 etc.
- Write a balanced conclusion: 'The harsh Treaty of Versailles did make the Weimar Republic unpopular. However, the inflation of 1923, and especially the great depression may have been more important.
The 8 Mark Credit Essay - That's tough!
It must have:
- An Introduction
- Several paragraphs (3-4) with good evidence
- and a conclusion which should answer the question

He noticed that there was not a lot of revision resources out there especially for Economics so he decided to create his own revision blog to help pupils with exams whilst at the same time teaching himself new things and increasing his knowledge. He is fascinated by the ways of the Internet and decided to give blogging a go.
'The Challenge' is really only an additional thing on the side to attract new members to the site. However users can compete in it if they wish to. We hope that users will spread the word of the site to their friends, teachers and we can hopefully get the full potential out of this blog.
